A special message from Kimberly…

Being a special needs caregiver is a unique and challenging role. When my journey began over twelve years ago, the emotional and spiritual challenges my family faced were surprising. Sadness and depression consumed me. When one of my children was diagnosed with a rare disease that could take his life, I lost my grip on my tenuous faith. God, in His great love and compassion, brought me from the brink of losing everything to living victoriously in His plan. Life isn’t easy and, for our family, we will always face unique challenges. However, I now live with joy and purpose. I’m here to help others in their journeys.

“This life may a be a surprise, but it is not an accident.”

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

1 Corinthians 1: 3-4
